Firewater Pump Package For Sale



This Fire Water Pump Package was designed for a cancelled project and was fabricated to extremely high Shell Canada Standards and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Codes. It was never deployed and is in BRAND NEW and NEVER USED condition. This pump package is very well documented and would be useful for fire safety applications wherever pressurized water hydrants and emergency services are not immediately available. This package may be the ideal fire safety solution for oil and gas tank farms & facilities, work camp sites and for commercial industrial applications.

This package was built in 2015 by Tyco/SimplexGrinnell (Primary Contractor), ABB Ber-mac (Electrical) and packaged by Brytex (Structural & Building) for Shell Canada. The package utilizes a total of four pumps including two AC Fire Pump 8100 Series Xylem Fire Pumps installed in parallel each with capacity of 500 USGPM @ 120 psig. One of these pumps is driven by a Clarke JU4H-UFH0 98HP Diesel Engine and the second pump is driven by a WEG W22 IEEE 841 60HP Electric Motor. Additionally, there are two jockey in line mounted Bell & Gossett Xylem Series 80 Centrifugal Pumps each with a capacity at 25 USGPM @ 120 psig both driven by 20HP WEG W22 – IEEE 841 motors.

This Package also includes a 1200 BBL Firewater Tank and 130 BBL Potable Water Tank that are listed separately on our website.

The unit is considerably overbuilt to Shell’s high standards and would cost around $900,000 US to rebuild today. We are selling it for considerably less and considering all reasonable offers and inquiries.
