825 KW Waukesha P48GL Natural Gas Generator Set, 825 KW Continuous Duty, 1800 rpm, 3 Phase, 480 Volt, 60 HZ, 0.8 P.F, 1230 hp, Engine P48GL, Heavy Duty MTG57 Leroy Somer Generator, Only 194 hours since new. Control Panel, 24V Electric Start, Skid Mounted Radiator Cooled, Complete Exhaust, Includes an Adjustable 2500 Amp Breaker in a Factory Nema 3 Weather Proof Insulated Outdoor Enclosure. Generator was shipped up from the USA and was only used for emergency power at a central banking system. Because of the banks expansion they needed much more power. Maintained by Waukesha under maintenance contract. Inspected and load tested with Load Test report available. Generator Package is in excellent condition. Enclosure is available at an additional cost. We can recommend some companies that can install the generator set in the enclosure within a short amount of time.

The P48 Fuel pressure can be configured as draw through for low fuel pressure or blow through for higher fuel pressure. (0.5 to 50 psig). It operates on Minimal Fuel Consumption of 7013BSFC (g/bhp-hr) of any engine of its class.
The P48 engines have superior load step capabilities, allowing for optimal operation even when isolated from the utility or in stand alone mode. The engine was structurally designed from the inside out to deliver continuous output whether in the most extreme destinations. The P48 has quick-loading characteristics, typically found only in diesel engines and this avoids the time-consuming task of slow and gradual loading. Built with industrial strength to handle continuous high rpm up to 1175 bhp and built to last with reduced vibration designs.
High power to weight ratio ensures long life and reduced operational costs. The engine design allows easy access to the oil pump, main bearings and rod bearings without the need to lower the oil pan. The P48 engine needs only quarterly maintenance not monthly like what is required on some other engines. The quarterly maintenance interval reduces cost and maximizes uptime.
